You’re complete….

Oftentimes people tend to doubt their completeness for whatever reasons, especially women. It is high time for us to understand what make us complete as individuals be it a man or a woman.

It is good to have a good understanding that our completeness is not dependent on our gender, social status, qualifications, size of our bank accounts, the amount of assets that we have in our possessions, marital status be it single or married, then what make us complete? Or better still, what can make us complete, if we are not yet complete?

And ye are complete in Him, which is the head of all principality and power (Colossians 2:10; KJV).

This scripture gave us insight of the truth that we are complete in Jesus who is the head of all principality and power. Therefore, as an individual if you have Jesus in your life as your LORD and SAVIOUR then the good news is that you are a complete person. Therefore, it’s high time you stop undermining yourself. Stop looking down on yourself rather look up unto Him (Jesus) that has made you complete in Him by virtue of the sacrifice He has made for you by His precious blood.

If you don’t have Jesus yet, then you’re not yet a complete person but you can be if you are interested…..

But God shows and clearly proves His [own] love for us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for us (Romans 5:8; AMP).

God has demonstrated his love towards you by making Jesus Christ to die for you despite your sin, therefore, all you need to do is to accept His love for you so that He can make you complete in Him.

Remember, your completeness is not based on your gender that is why God from the beginning created both man and woman in His likeness and image (Gen 1:27).

So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them (Genesis 1:27; AMP).

You have been created in the likeness and image of God so that you’re complete in Christ who is the Head of the church and you are the church (everyone in Christ). Therefore, you’re a complete man or woman.

Jesus is Lord.

Ordained for Honour

In life it is usually believed that you need to work very hard to attain a place or position of honour but contrary to the world belief, the scripture made us understand that one of the virtues that the Lamb (JESUS) was slain to receive for us is Honour.
“Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing” Revelation 5:12 (KJV).
Therefore, for everyone in Christ, you have been redeemed and ordained for honour irrespective of your gender. Jesus was made available as the Grace of God to humanity. The Lord is gracious and full of compassion toward us because he is slow to anger and of great mercy (Psalm 145:8). The focus of this article is to charge and encourage us that as believers and Christians, honour is our redemption right. Irrespective of what you’re going through that may want you to doubt your identity in Christ, never give in to the lies of the devil. As the sons and daughters of God, Christ has placed us on a pedestal of honour and glory (a place of royalty) Rev 5:10.

“And has made us unto our God Kings and Priests: and we shall reign on the earth” Revelation 5:10 (KJV)

Hence, as the redeemed of the Lord created in His likeness and image, we are to be like our Father by dispensing grace unto others. Being gracious simply means being tender hearted, full of compassion and kind. God has bestowed His grace on us so that our lives will reflect Him irrespective of our circumstances, situations and challenges. From experience, it can be very difficult to show grace to people that hurt us or inflict pain on us but just like we do not deserve the Grace of God but He gave Him to us anyway because of His love for us (John 3:16) so also God want us to do the same. Let go of the hurt and the pain in your heart and forgive then allow God to work on you so that His Grace and Love in you can radiate to the outside world.

“A gracious woman retaineth honour: and strong men retain riches” Proverbs 11:16 (KJV).

According to Proverbs 11:16, when we allow the grace of God in us radiate we tend to attain and retain Honour. Remember, we are already gracious because the full grace of God is in and on us, all we need to do is to allow that Grace manifest in us by allowing what God has deposited in us to reflect out.

You can let go of that hurt, betrayal, pain etc. and forgive because you are Gracious and honourable. As you do this, more honour awaits you.

According to the world standard, words can be likened to an egg that once broken cannot be fixed again, therefore, indicating or emphasising on the importance of spoken words. Which words have you spoken over your life and you think need to be reversed? Or which words have people spoken over your life and all aspects of your life that you think need to be changed?
Who can speak, and have it happened if the Lord has not decreed it (Lamentations 3:37; NIV)

Who can command things to happen without the Lord’s permission? (Lamentation 3:37; NLT)

Who is he that saith and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not? (Lamentations 3:37; KJV).

Why focus so much on what people say (a man/woman like yourself), especially their negative words when the final authority or say over your life is in God? God’s word should be the only and final verdict over your life and situations. The time wasted in worrying about people’s words/decree over your life can be used wisely if channelled in the right direction: invest quality time in the word of God to find out what God has said concerning you and the situations of your life. Make God’s word the focus of your life. The mistake we make as individuals is that we tend to believe the promises or word of a man in high position (e.g. President of a nation) more than the word of Him (GOD) that created the man. Man can make promises and fail but God will never break His promises because He is a Covenant keeping God.

Truly, let’s critically examine and analyse Lam 3:37, who can truly bring to pass his decree without the permission of the Creator of Heavens and the earth? No one…..and never will there be. Where the word of a King is, there is power (Ecclesiastes 8:4) and since JESUS is the King of Kings, so in His word is power.

For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires (Hebrews 4:12; NLT).

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart (Hebrews 4:12; KJV).

It is high time you believe the authenticity of God’s word, people’s words/promises may change and/or fail but the word of God will never lose His potency because He can never change, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). The word of God according to Hebrews 4:12 is said to be quick to perform, is alive to deliver what God says / has said concerning you and it is powerful thereby overcoming and prevailing over all oppositions. The word of God is also powerful to repair every damage the negative words of people or the enemy (devil) have done to your life.

Now, nullify every contrary word you have spoken or that has been spoken against your life with the blood of Jesus (Revelation 12:11) then keep speaking God’s word over your life and situations and you will begin to enjoy the manifestation of His word because it works.

So, rejoice knowing that the word of GOD is authentic and in it is your testimonies and future, other words are fake.

The Fountain

JESUS IS THE FOUNTAIN OF LIVING WATERS. Are you thirsty? Then come to Him….

That longing thirst in your soul can only be quenched by the living waters. In John 4:10-14, a conversation occurred between JESUS and the Samaritan woman.

10 Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”

11 The woman said to Him, “Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where then do You get that living water? 12 Are You greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank from it himself, as well as his sons and his livestock?”

13 Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, 14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

JESUS is making the same statement to you and I today: If you’re thirsty for a solution to the challenges of your life, all you need to do is come to Him who is able to quench your thirst and give you fountain of water that will keep springing life, hope and joy in you.

The Wounded and Broken Hearts💘💔

Are there issues or circumstances/challenges that you’ve gone through or you’re going through in your life that has brought so much pain as a result of a wounded heart or a broken heart?

If yes then there is good news for you today. There is someone whose specialty is in healing the wounded heart and binding the broken heart according to Isaiah 61:1 (Amplified version).

THE SPIRIT of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed and qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor, and afflicted; He has sent me to bind up and heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the [physical and spiritual] captives and the opening of the prison and of the eyes to those who are bound.

Jesus is able to heal that wounded heart and bind your broken heart (Psalm 147:3) if only you will give him a chance to help you. Do not shut God away from you, release your heart to him by letting out your pain. If you need to cry to let out the pain to the Lord, please do. Don’t be ashamed of opening up yourself to the Lord, tell Him about the hurt, pain, betrayals, disappointments e.t.c.

God is with an outstretched arm waiting for you to allow Him to embrace you, comfort you and heal you. By the stripes of Jesus you were healed(Isaiah 53:5), kindly take note of the past tense used in the scripture. You have been healed and all you need to do is to receive your healing.

Jesus is Lord.

# You’re a gracious woman

A man with a womb is a woman ordained with a purpose. She is a purpose-driven woman.

21And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam; and while he slept, He took one of his ribs or a part of his side and closed up the [place with] flesh.

22And the rib or part of his side which the Lord God had taken from the man He built up and made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.

23Then Adam said, This [creature] is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of a man.

From this scripture (Genesis 2:21-23; Amplified version), we learnt the following:
*God did a perfect work on a man to bring forth a woman.
*God didn’t permit interruptions or ideas from man while creating the woman for God made man to go into a deep sleep.
*The name woman was given to the creature made out of man because she was taken out of man.

The fact that a woman was taken out of man, does that make her less than a man or incomplete? NO(Genesis 1:27).

So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him, male and female He created them(Genesis 1:27;Amplified).

Therefore, a woman was created in the likeness and image of God. So, you’re a complete woman, perfectly and beautifully created in God’s likeness full of His grace.

#Gracious woman

The Gracious woman is a woman that knows the divine purpose of God for her life and she has a mission to fulfill it. She is the perfect description of God’s image (Genesis 1:27). She is a beautiful woman that knows who she is and her worth is priceless so also is her beauty, for her beauty reflects from within to the outside, indeed she is an epitome of beauty created by a perfect GOD.

She is a classical example of the Proverbs 31 woman, be it single or married. She is gracious (full of Grace) and compassion because her maker is gracious. She reflects Jesus Christ in her words, actions, attitude and lifestyle. Does that mean she doesn’t have flaws? of course she does but what makes the difference is that she allows the master and her maker to correct her and work on her. Her maker is the potter and she is the clay, therefore, the potter continuously work on her through His word until His perfect beauty manifest in her. The splendor of His glory is seen in her and she has been empowered to love, care, nurture and motivates the people around her.

The gracious woman is every woman that God has created for HIS glory.
